Visits with Froggy WOGI 98.3, and Y108 WDSY in Pittsburgh, PA.
“Officially the last day!”

Here we are! We’ve reached the final, (at least for now) day of radio tour! We have two stations left to visit and they’re right here in Pittsburgh!

First, we were off to Froggy WOGI 98.3 to go see Frank Bell, Dave Anthony and crew. They were so nice to us! They gave us froggy shirts, froggy cups and stickers! We walked into the station and there was cool frog stuff EVERYWHERE! I especially got a kick out of this because I am an avid frog collector! We played our show for them, got to do liners and visited for a while. We also met with Donnie from Boogie Street Custom Guitars who gave us some pretty cool shirts. We are anxious to see what kind of instruments they have! Because of me being so excited about all the frog paraphernalia, On the way out the door, I was surprised with a froggy bobble head! It’s so cute. Thank you so much guys - I love it!

Next up was WDSY Y108 in Pittsburgh where we had lunch at the station with Jane, Stoney Richards, Calvin, Mike and crew! They also recorded our live performance. You can WATCH it HERE.
Many congrats to Jane on her recent wedding! Lunch was fun and we found out that Calvin is the troublemaker of the crew. (Of course, I think Trenna egged him on a bit) HA! We got to go on-air with Mike for a while and he told us how much he loved our version of the Star-Spangled Banner. Our very own Becky Priest arranged our version so we were so excited when we were asked to perform it live on the air! They recorded us singing it and want to use it again on the air. Yea Baby!
Also while we were at WDSY, we met Heather who was taking around a Virginia Tech Banner to spread hope and pay homage to the victims of that horrible day. We want to thank Heather for letting us sign the banner and for giving up her time to help others. We love meeting people that make a difference in this world. You rock girl!

Well, that’s all for now! We’ll be flying home and getting in this eve. It’s funny, but it really didn’t seem like a 5 week stretch and the last two weeks went by so quickly. We’re all excited to get home, but we’ll have a lot of catching up to do. We’ll be meeting the bus the next day, start the process of “moving out.” That’s always an adventure! Thanks again to all of our radio reps. for putting up with us out here! We had so much fun with all of you. A special thank you goes out to Donny Michael of http://www.gigtours.com/ for being a wonderful bus driver and bus host! Also Thanks to all our new friends (and our old favorites) at radio who took the time to stop, listen and to hang out with us. We hope to see you all again really soon!!

This will not be the end of the blog! We plan on continuing to write about our travels as they come. So stay tuned for some more craziness from the girls of Cowboy Crush! Till next time - Renae'
