Featherlite International Dealer Meeting in Cresco, Iowa

Howdy! We just got in from our date out in Cresco, Iowa for the Featherlite Dealer Meeting, and may we say, what a fine bunch of hospitable people! They made us feel so welcome and we were so happy to be able to travel out to Iowa do a show for them. In return, they ended up hooking us up with an awesome trailer and even loads of cool Featherlite clothing. You guys took a big gamble setting us five women lose in your “swag” closet!

The gig went very well and this was officially Kim Trammel’s (our new drummer girl) first trip out on the tour bus. She didn’t sleep too well the first night on the bus, but the second night, she did much better! She also had to learn what “getting your bus legs” meant. Pretty much it’s like learning how to walk again in a moving vehicle. I guess it would be kind of the same comparison to getting your “sea legs.” (play this game)

The venue fed us plenty of barbeque ribs, chicken, potatoes, ect., and after our show, they took us on a grand tour of the various trailers that you had to choose from. We were so blown away at how many trailers they had and the different designs/styles depending on it’s purpose. They had these particular horse trailers that actually doubled as living quarters! So you could haul 3-4 horses and also have a separate area in which to live in, with a full on shower, toilet, kitchen, living area with an extending side and a sleeping area! Kudos to Featherlite trailers!
